The next class is likely to be a workshop--it's in the planning stages now. I'm thinking about scheduling it for two back-to-back, 2-day weekends--this allows time for the underpainting to dry and be ready for glazing. As before, it will be held at the Eastern Shore Art Center. I'll post dates and times as soon as I have those details. Email me at: mailto:info@susandowningwhite.com if you'd like to be added to my mailing list and notified of upcoming events.

Then in August, I'll do another Pet Portrait Handcoloring workshop. It will be a fundraiser at Episcopal Church of the Redeemer in Mobile. More details on that will becoming too.

"One thing must be said for going out on a limb. That's where all the apples are." Here's my favorite apple in the studio, painted for me by student Jean Pippin. It's a beautiful, pure example of the underpainting/glazing method we explored in class last fall. Thank you, Jean!
